De NVT Phybridge 1701 Extender Solution is ontworpen om de downlink poorten van een standaard Ethernet switch te superchargen en levert tot 420Mbps en PoE over Coax, enkelpaar UTP of 2-draads infrastructuren met een bereik tot 2,4 km op RG6. Met de 1701 Extender Solution kunnen IP IoT-apparaten worden aangesloten op de bestaande Coax-, UTP- of 2-draadsbekabelinginfrastructuur, waardoor optimale prestaties worden geleverd en tegelijkertijd kosten en tijd worden bespaard en het milieu minder wordt belast. Bovendien kunnen systeemontwerpers dankzij de kostenbesparingen door het gebruik van de 1701 Extender Solution budget en middelen overhevelen naar toepassingen van hogere kwaliteit en IEEE 802.3at/af-compatibele IoT-apparaten, waaronder IP-telefoons, camera's, toegangscontrole, luidsprekers en zelfs facilitaire verlichting.
