The Sonora II BAASL-Sa is a Standalone Sound and Light Alarm Unit designed for ISS equipped with Type 2b Alarm Equipment (EA). Installation is made easier by the use of a connection base on which the BAASL-Sa is plugged. The BAASL-Sa broadcasts a general audible alarm signal compliant with the NFS 32001 standard and a class S light (flash) signal according to the NFC 48150: 2014 standard. This signal is triggered by a control order from a BAAS Celtic Pr (main) or a CMSI. A digital control loop connects all the BAASL-Sa in an installation. It ensures the synchronization of alert signals, the placing in "test" mode or in "maintenance" mode of each block. The "maintenance" mode simplifies the verification of the connection between the BAASL-Sa and authorizes the disconnection of one or more Blocks without triggering the general alarm signal.
