De ComNet CNXE2GE2TX8MSPOE is een Managed Ethernet Switch met twaalf poorten die is ontworpen om betrouwbaar te functioneren in ruwe, veeleisende milieutoepassingen. Hij beschikt over acht 10/100/1000BASE-TX poorten die IEEE 802.2af/at PSE ondersteunen met een totaal energiebudget van 240 W met een maximum van dertig watt per poort om stroom te leveren in een PoE-toepassing. Er zijn ook twee 100/1G/2,5GBASE-X poorten en twee 1G/10GBASE-X SFP-poorten. De SFP-poorten zijn configureerbaar door het gebruik van compatibele ComNet SFP-modules. Deze netwerkbeheerde laag 2 switches zijn compatibel met elk Ethernetapparaat dat voldoet aan IEEE802.3.
