MC 740 is een klein en dun magneetcontact met NC-functie dat gebruikt kan worden in zowel alarm- als toegangscontrolesystemen om bijvoorbeeld deuren en ramen te bewaken tegen ongeoorloofd openen. Zowel het contact als het magneetgedeelte zitten in een waterbestendige (IP 67) kunststof behuizing. Het kleine en dunne formaat maakt het contact bijzonder gemakkelijk te installeren in beperkte ruimtes, zoals op luiken en laden.
